Collection of information

The information that you provide is used in accordance with our obligations under the Privacy Act 1993 and the Health Information Privacy Code 1994 for:

Your treatment and care.
Liaising with other treatment providers and ACC as required by you.
Monitoring the provision of this treatment.
Providing you with information that you may ask for.
Responding to any queries or concerns that you may have.
Administering our financial records.

Except as described in this Privacy Policy, Chiro Instinct will not share, sell, or rent personal information with anyone without your permission or unless ordered by a court of law.

Besides our staff, we also share this information with third-party services:

Nookal, our practice management software.
Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC).

We allow access to Personal Information to these third-party services on our behalf strictly for the purposes for which they are engaged.

Storage of information

Your information is stored securely. We are required to keep your information for 10 years after your last consultation with us under the Health (Retention of Health Information) Regulations 1996.

Access to information and correction
